Egyptian Revival Earrings

Adaptation of ancient jewelry became very popular in Europe during the mid 19^th century. The Castellani workshop in Naples, Italy, which Henry Walters visited in 1909, was famous for this style of jewelry. These Egyptian Revival Earrings are inspired by a necklace from that very same Castellani workshop which is now in the Walters collection! These earrings are set with genuine lapis lazuli* cabochons in 22k gold-plated pewter and hang 1 ½ inches long.
