Ordering Options
Ordering on our online store is easy and secure, however, if you require assistance please email us atmuseumstore@thewalters.org . You can also order over the phone by calling the Museum Store.

Taxation
Sales Tax is charged on orders with Maryland shipping addresses. Shipments within Maryland include 6% tax computed after adding shipping and handling charges. There is no tax on the purchase of memberships, donations, or orders shipping outside the state of Maryland.

Member Discounts
Walters Art Museum members receive a 10% discount in the Museum Store and our online store.To receive your discount online, simply sign in to your account that was created when your membership was processed*. Once you have signed in, your member's discount will automatically be applied at checkout. Find out more about other membership benefits or become a member online.

Shipping & Handling
We are a small team helping both in-store visitors and online customers. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for online order processing. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery, we will inform you of any delay beyond 2 weeks. Once your online order is fulfilled, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. When possible, our orders are packaged with recycled materials to reduce waste and additional costs.

The Walters Art Museum Store ships via UPS Ground.UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes. We are unable to provide international, Next Day, Second Day, or Three Day shipping services.

Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be delighted with your purchase or gift from The Walters Art Museum Store. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the merchandise for replacement, exchange, or refund within 30 days from receipt of delivery. All returned items must be in their original packaging and in sale-able condition. Returns and exchanges can be arranged by email atmuseumstore@thewalters.org or by phone at 410-547-9000 x275.

If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and retain all original packaging.

  • Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
  • Please include a copy of the packing slip or receipt in your return package.
  • Return the package via insured ground service with delivery confirmation. Please obtain a tracking number from your shipper as lost shipments are the responsibility of the sender.

Online customers should receive a confirmation email once the refund is complete. Please allow one billing cycle from the time our store receives the returned item for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. Exchanges will incur an additional shipping and handling charge for the new delivery.

Need help with your return?
An associate is available to assist you Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00AM to 5:00PM EST. Messages left outside of business hours will be returned by the next operating business day.

FAQ

What forms of payment are accepted online?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

How do I find the status of my online order?
If you have registered and signed in to your Museum Store account, you can find your order status and tracking information under "My Account".  You can also emailmuseumstore@thewalters.org with your order number and we will be happy to assist you. Your order number can be found in your confirmation email.

Does The Walters Art Museum Store offer gift wrapping service?
Gift wrapping service is currently unavailable. We can, however, include a gift message. If you place an order by phone our associates are happy to make sure your sentiments are included in your order. When placing an online order, simply enter your message in the gift message box on your check out screen.
