Léon Bonvin Recipe Notecards

Born in Paris in 1834, Léon Bonvin drew inspiration from his surroundings. By 1860, he turned exclusively to the use of watercolor, creating landscapes and still lifes with remarkable luminosity. The Walters has the largest collection of his works in the world.  Featured here are five of his works along with recipes for a complete five course meal. The recipes were produced by the Women's Committee of the Walters Art Museum. Enjoy Deviled Oysters, or Baked Fish with Salmon Stuffing!  Great to send to friends, or the perfect hostess gift!
