Illuminated Bangle Bracelet

This exquisite bangle is designed after a frontispiece from the Khamsa (Quintet) of Amir Khusraw Dihlavi illuminated manuscript, which was likely produced in Lahore (present-day Pakistan) in the late 16th century and is now part of the Walters Collection. The bracelet is hand-crafted* in the USA from sturdy brass and the stunningly reproduced detail from the illuminated manuscript is carefully covered in epoxy to assure length of wear.  The bracelet measures approximately 2 ½ inches in diameter and 1 ¼ inches wide.

*Each bangle is made by hand and sizing varies slightly between each piece.
