Olbia's Treasure Pin

This unique adaptation of Ancient Greek jewelry is sure to be a conversation starter! Throughout the archaeological site of Olbia, an Ancient Greek colony dating back to the 1^st century B.C. (now present-day Ukraine),  areas were unearthed to reveal a treasure trove of finds including jewelry. The set gem stone in this reproduction is inspired by a necklace found in an ancient tomb in Olbia which is now in the Walters jewelry collection. The pin, featuring a large oval of black onyx, is set in 24k gold-plated pewter and measures approximately 1.5 x 1.25 inches.
